In 2018, after much time in the acting industry, Capó returned to music with a single called " Calma". All proceeds from the song benefited the Hispanic Federation and its efforts to help those in Puerto Rico affected by Hurricane Maria. In 2017, Capó joined multiple artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Gloria Estefan, and Rita Moreno on Lin-Manuel Miranda's " Almost Like Praying". In 2009, he performed a duet with popular Mexican singer Thalía called " Estoy Enamorado" from her new album Primera Fila and another duet with the Puerto Rican singer Kany García called "Si Tú Me Lo Pides".
He has also starred in the films Shut Up And Do It and Paraiso Travel, which is directed by Simón Brand and co-stars John Leguizamo. Pedro resided in New York, where he starred in musical productions including: Apollo Theatre's production of The Sweet Spot (New York City) and the Off-Broadway hit musical production of CELIA: The Life and Music of Celia Cruz. Pedro picked up the guitar at an early age and quickly became proficient in the instrument, later playing guitar in and becoming the main voice of the group Marka Registrada. On April 26, 2020, she would collaborate with Michael Bublé and the Barenaked Ladies to sing a cover of a song called "Gotta Be Patient" by Stay Homas featuring Judit Nedderman, for the Canadian benefit concert Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble in support of Food Banks Canada, healthcare and front-line workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and in memory of the 2020 Nova Scotia attacks. On May 19, the music video was released for the song, featuring Reyes singing on stage at a Mexican restaurant. On March 6, 2020, she collaborated with American singer-songwriter Lauv, for the song "El Tejano" off Lauv’s debut album, How I'm Feeling. In May 2019, Spanish singer Beret released a duet version of his song "Lo siento" (English: I'm sorry) featuring Reyes. In March 2019, Sofia released the song " R.I.P.", featuring Rita Ora and Anitta. She released a song called " 1,2,3 " along with Jason Derulo and De la Ghetto. Both are featured in the official music video. In early 2016, Sofia released her third single "Solo Yo", a heartfelt ballad and her first singing collaboration with mentor Prince Royce. The music video for the latter song sees American singer/actor Kendall Schmidt of Big Time Rush and Heffron Drive making an appearance as Reyes' love interest on a secluded beach. Her subsequent single "Conmigo (Rest of Your Life)" was launched the following year.
Reyes, who is known for her upbeat bilingual (Spanish and English) lyrics, afterwards collaborated with Puerto Rican singer Wisin and German producer Toby Gad to co-write the single " Muévelo," which was released on August 2014.
